I've just built two more bits of foliage for my Classic-Castle.com article on foliage.
So here you go:
A rose bush and a corn stalk (the rose I came up with myself, the corn is someone elses design):

And here are a few single stem roses (which I'm rather proud of, but someone may have already come up with this idea, I don't know):

So there ya go

P.S. Yes Troy, I know I coulda put the pictures in directly, but they're big images and I feel for the modem users

DaSK: we dont care about your freakish green corn.. i bet all the fish in your area have three eyes, and babies are born with eight toes!
Anthony: love the rose bush.. really cool.
but
I LOVE THE SINGLE STEM ROSE!!!
PERFECT!
BEAUTIFUL!
WOW!
now, all i need is a picture of my minifig giving my wife's minifig a rose.

Well, some of the babies have three eyes, and fish are born with eight toes...but corn husks are still green.

If you don't like that the corn husks are yellow, you can easily imagine that this is another plant... like a citrus tree for example.
SavaTheAggie, this is simple and efficient. Nice work.

My original comment, about the husks being green, was intended to be humorous. Thus the "Razz" emoticon next to the statement.
The MOCs are very good, and it seems that some of you have mistaken my intended-to-be-funny comment for harsh criticism. This is definitely not the case.
Lighten up, huh?

humor is not appreciated here at classic-castle.com
please, from now on, post all 'humor' pieces as the crazy sites, like lugnet or bricklink.

Wow. The rose bush is great. The corn...well. Something just seems a bit wrong I can't seem to put my finger on it. Maybe the corn isn't high enough from the ground? I don't know. And about the single roses. WOW They are great
