This castle is impressive by the scale alone. I remember a few years back that Bob wrote on his site that he had wanted to build Newschwanstein but he couldn't manage it do to size. It's nice to see that he finally achieved his goal. It's absolutely stunning. I do wish that he would photoshop out the backgrounds of a few of his photos though as I find that Bob's castles are often victims of ho-hum photography. A number of details seem washed out simply because the background of the room is too distracting.

I have always been a fan of the Carney castles because of their scale andd simplistic details grounded somewhat in reality, but Bob has seriously outdone himself this time! There is too much to comment on to really start a list on this castle.

I don't know how he finds the energy or time to build these behemoths, I'm just thankful he keeps on building them!

I agree! Carney has been such a big inspiration for so many Castle fans. It's great to still see castles coming from his lair. And his Neuschwanstein is very impressive indeed!

This is undoubtably the best castle I have ever seen.

Pure jawdropping, mind-numbing, unconscienceness ensuing, awesomeness is the best way to describe this castle. Not to mention the size! This thing is huge!

This castle knocked my socks off. I've harbored dreams of building it for about 20 years but my collection is too small by several orders of magnitude for something to scale, as this is.

This is a beautiful, very accurate recreation of the castle. Dr. Carney is still the historical castle master he always was (although Neuschwanstein is not a medieval castle at all).

I have been following his work in progress pictures of this MOC for a while now, and the result is very impressive. A lot of people seem to like Neuschwanstein a lot, but i have actually never really liked it that much. Something about the architecture doesn't look right, and while some parts do look nice, other parts like the large building looks kind of wrong. I think Carney's lego version actually looks better than the real castle, maybe because it looks more realistic than the real castle which has a kind of fake look to it.
