Turku Castle

Hey all,

Here is Turku Castle.

Turku is the largest surviving medieval building in Finland, begun in 1280. There's some possibility that this LEGO version was built by Mulberry24, but given that these photos are in the stream along with several photos of the real castle, it looks like this model is on display inside the castle itself.

The brickwork and the roofs are very well done. Also I noticed the subtle angles and slopes that the real castle has that is also in this replica. Excellent model.

Wow, cool to find something local here :)
I'm not sure but i think it is on display at the real castle.
I have some memories seeing it as a child... but im not sure, and i have no idea who built it!
