I'm new to this LEGO castle building thing, but it has to be one of the coolest things I've seen done with LEGOs. I'm still stuck in Afghanistan for a few more months, so all i have to work with is the LDD. this is the first tower i managed to create after several attempts. It will either be used in a design by it self as a keep or watch tower, or as a corner bastion. This is still a work in progress, so I'd really appreciate some constructive criticism on this thing.

Re: LDD first MOC
Wow, that really is fantastic. For an LDD model especially, considering I am god awful at them. I really like how it isn't just a flat wall; it's an intricate surface; a fortress of solitude, in which a man keeps his most valuable treasures, such as his fortress. "Are you suggesting that my fortress is INSIDE my fortress?" "No, I was merely suggesting--" " WELL GOOD CAUSE I ALREADY LOOKED THERE." Sorry, sorry. Disregard the second half of the second sentence on. Anyway. Nice job, really. I would buy it if it were a set, if that's any indication.

If I were to make something out of LEGOs, I would probably use LEGOs. Pretty advanced stuff going on up in my head.

That's a very attractive tower. Welcome to the forum.

I'm usually not a great fan of LDD Mocs, but this design looks great. Now try to build it in bricks

This would look especially great as the corner of a similarly lovely castle. I'd love to see you bring this into the physical world (when you can). I'm afraid I can't offer any criticism for you!

Wow!
That's a very nice LDD model. Aside from the fact that it would be very oversized for minifigs and would cost quite a few acorns to build, it's pretty fantastic. Would be fun to see this design develop into a full blown castle. Maybe some millionaire can build it someday!
PS, are you over there as part of active military duty? Stay safe!

Nice design. Are corners on top 'empty' with purpose?
