You did an awesome job Night Hawk, the photography is great and the dead soldier up by the fire is well done along with the rest of the MOC. I'd say enter it!

Courage, Honor, Loyalty! For Garheim!

Thanks guys, I was planning on doing a series of builds each a different chapter of this story but I'm not sure if it's allowed. As in whether I can do a series or I have to do one build.

You can do a series to tell your GC V story if you'd like to do that

Alright good it'll meet the seizing power requirement of course. With the Dragon knights always after my character it'll be though to avoid fighting them though.

If you were engaged by a Dragon troop or two, I don't see that as being enough to kill prisoners over (especially if you hide the bodies!

I have posted my entry to the GC5! It can be viewed on the first post of this photo. Also, I have changed my character's name to Louis of Mikithdar. It sounds more professional, eh?

Yeah I saw them on Flickr looking good. You seem to be doing the same thing as me telling a story over a series of builds.

Yeah, thanks! Presenting a story, especially one like we're doing, is just plainly better with more than one build.Night Hawk wrote:Yeah I saw them on Flickr looking good. You seem to be doing the same thing as me telling a story over a series of builds.

Our first free build for August.

After weeks of following the trail of a small band of dangerous outlaws, Jørn Jakobsen and his company finally catch up with them and pursue them through a forest on the southern border of Garheim.
After a brief chase, Jørn Jakobsen captures the outlaws and prepares to bring them back to his home town for judgement before the council.
More images can be found on our Flickr.
If any experienced members of the LCC notice anything wrong with this post, please let us know, as this is our first build for this group (excluding the signup of course).

RBC is looking to trade some new Crown Lion figs for dragon knights. Good chance to bolster your troops, Garhims!

Here is my entry for LCC GCV:

I think this build is part 2 of 2, what means that I will do an previous part 1 as well to tell a proper story, because at the moment I don't have a complete story to tell.
EDIT: Story is up now.
After I recieved the terrible news about the betrayal of the false queen I rushed at lightning speed to the next bigger Garhim colony to inform the people living there about this vile intrigue. The crowd was terribly angry about the fact that this witch has put our beloved and God-given leader Jhirian Eindrick in chains and threw him in the darkest dungeon of her evil storghold. This woman who the most of us have viewed as a peace bringer, who could finally unite Roawia, is now the biggest enemy of all civilized and peaceable provinces of the empire.
That is why I Ser Junus as well as many other loyal nobles of of the province of Garheim decided to evacuate the citizens of Garheim from their settlements. Our aim is a remoted fortification in the Great Driftplains in the north-west of Garheim, there the peace-loving citizens should be safe from the clutches of queen Galainir, at least for a while.
Still early in the dawn, the first group started to leave their housing, in the luggage they had only the bare essentials. They tried to load their ox carts as sufficient as possible, including tools, music instruments and food – especially dried and nutritious fish. For the encouragement of the angered Garhim a musician played an ancient song song, full of sorrow, originating from the time of our ancestors, on a traditional bagpipe.
I was standing by myself, remoted on a ledge above the road to the city gate and monitored the hustle and bustle fo the fleeing sons and daughters of Garheim. Standing by myself, I was in a terrible rage. But I new only too well that a direct march with my men to the the queens stronghold would be a pure suicide mission. So I headed far north with my fellow brothers and sisters...

Do our mountain ranges have names?
Toilet paper goes over not under.
Re: LCC - Garheim Official Faction Thread *GC V Now Live!*
Some do....if you look on page 1 of our Garheim thread there is a Regional Map that has some range names in there. That is where I got the name Dagger Stones for the range that Gabriel lives in.
Unrelated.....Deadline for GCV is 9/16 right? I am seeing a lot of entries already, but mine will be a bit yet
