Majisto's workshop

I've always been a big fan of the Lego Wizards, and thought it was about time a did a MOC to celebrate this. I recently bought the Brickforge potion bottles featured in the MOC and they were a large inspiration for this scene. I also wanted to try the tire/cauldron technique.

Great build! It looks a little cluttered, but that's how I feel a wizards' shop should be. :D The cat chasing the frog is my favorite bit.

Really nice. I like the cluttered feel, also the little bits of smooth brick mixed in with the brick-bricks in the walls. The tire trick works really well for the cauldron.

I like how busy the scene is for how much space you have, so many things to look at. Nice job, and I like how the cauldron looks too.

Yeah it was a challenge to make it 'busy' without having too much stuff everywhere.

The tire was one of my main reasons for making the scene. I've seen it used a few times (using a larger tire) and wanted to give it a go. I actually have more masonry 1x2s than standard 1x2s, hence the brick-brick usage, but I feel the 'normal' bricks hopefully make the walls less 'busy'.

Glad you like the cat, there are 4 frogs 'hidden' in the scene as well :D

Thanks guys, I've been collecting these 'wizardy' bits and pieces for a while, so it was nice to be able to use (some!) of them in a MOC.
