Hey all,
I know, this is a three year old thread, but I was just thinking about this in relation to a Nexo game thread. I was wondering if this was still a thing, but I see that the LEGO Minifigures Online game was [url=https
://www.playminifigures.com/buy/]shut down last fall[/url]. I actually never got it to run on my computer as it kept crashing. I suppose it helped pave the way for the Dimensions game, and once that game existed they didn't want this semi-free game as competition. One complaint, though. Back in 2013 CMFs cost US$3.00. Then in 2014 we got the Simpsons CMFs and the price jumped up to US$4.00 - we were told this was because of the cost of the license. Then when they went back to the non-Simpsons CMF's the price stayed at US$4.00 - the justification was that there was this value-added aspect that you got a code to play the new game. But now that the game is gone, did the price go back down for the non-Simpsons, non-LEGO Movie, non-Batman CMFs? Nope. Granted, I don't expect things to stay at the same price as they were four years ago, but still it feels a bit like we were jerked around on that. If they had come down to #3.50 it would have been a nice gesture.
Okay, I'll stop being grumpy and go back to playing with my series 16 Rogue. This guy's awesome.
