Castle-Specific Event Awards

I've seen and heard people, online and off, talk about awards for Castle MOCs at conventions, separate from any overall event-level award categories. With that in mind, I have a few questions.

Is there any interest in doing this?

Is there any interest in doing this if the award is just an award and recognition, with no other prize?

What categories would work?

Should this be awarded by a theme/room coordinator, a group of judges, or voted on by those displaying Castle MOCs at that event?

If a popular vote, how should the voting be handled?

And yes, as I'm the Castle theme leader for BrickFair VA in 2016, this is more than mere idle curiosity. :)
