From some time the standard LEGO base plates (32x32 studs) seems to small for me. And putting few plates together starts to look like a big diorama. So I wanted to build something based on 48x48 studs plate. And then competition pop up on Eurobricks forum. It was great opportunity to try that bigger base plate. Nice. It's like the Walking Dead set a thousand years ago. I like the way you recessed those lion-head elements into the wall, and also the nice landscaping. My one suggestion is it seems there should be some soldiers on the battlements using those crossbows.

Wow! This is awesome! The colors are beautiful! I really love the trees, which I think break up the landscape wonderfully! Keep it up!

As for the soldiers on the battlements - there are none there to make more drama Empty walls? What happened to the crew?
Also if there would be someone there - they would open doors for the runners and the whole scene with the key would lost sense
Thx This is 2nd time I build trees from the bricks so I am really glad you like it. Still need some improvements here (though)TheLordOfBricks wrote:Wow! This is awesome! The colors are beautiful! I really love the trees, which I think break up the landscape wonderfully! Keep it up!
