I’ve been on the verge of posting a thread here for the longest time to ask if anyone knows of any clever builds for a minifig-scale cello or string bass. I’ve had in mind turning my collection of jesters into a court orchestra with a lute, violin, maybe guitar, etc. etc… And I really feel like my Harley Quinn figure needs to have a big string bass.
Now today I’ve noticed that there’s a new mold for a cello that’s come out with the “Wednesday and Enid’s dorm room” set. So maybe we can look forward to this piece showing up with some other sets and figures soon. I’m certainly hoping they come out with a more normal brown color. What do you guys think of this piece?
Ah I completely missed out this piece when I looked up this set. Didn't look at the indoors pics close enough I guess. Anyways it's nice one, hoping also it'll eventually come in brown some day. I assume the chances are at least high.
As a side note I like those gargoyles, I believe they are new as well? The set has overall nice selection of stuff too.

That is a nice new mold. This was the only minifigure scale string instrument I could find (and it is definitely a bass)
That’s pretty good. The baluster piece for the neck is a good idea.

There are a few pieces in there that are new to me… like the squirrel and the rabbit, and the square pieces at the top of the columns. But I haven’t really paid close attention to the friends themes.
