No, it doesn't open up. It isn't in minifig scale so nothing can really fit inside it.

Hello!

Cool indeed. Castel del Monte is one of the THE CASTLEs.

It doesn't look quite finished, open-uper or not.

I'd also like to see it in real-Lego.

Very cool. is it finished? I like it a lot. It would be really cool to see a fig scale one.

That model is really great, better than mine! I don't have nearly that many light gray pieces.
What doesn't look complete about mine? There were a few details that I couldn't do at the scale I built mine in. I did get the windows on the inside that can't be seen from the picture, though.

Bob Carney is indeed a very skilled builder. I borrowed many ideas from him myself. But just because a project has been done by one of the greats, is no reason not for someone else to give it a try. Every creation improves your skills.

Looks nice. I see you went for white instead of grey. I'm a fan of white castles myself.

If you are looking for some help getting a mlcad file into pov-ray, I would suggest checking out this tutorial.

Thanks for the link. I'll see if I can figure it out and post more pictures.
