custom wizard and cart!!!

Post by boses »

here is a picture of a wizard and his cart...

Image

the cart can hold a lot of treasure, depite it's small size...

Image

here we have a bugbear, who is looking for a fight...

Image

funny little bugbear....

Image

the cart can even carry a heavy strongbox...

Image

the cart can carry two passengers...

Image

the cart is obviously based on Gandalf's from the PJ fellowship movie...

please tell me what you think...

That's adorable (and adorable isn't a bad thing). Very nice! :D

I there a reason the wizard is carrying a mimic around?

Cool cart. It looks very versatile. The wizard is interesting, too.

Good cart Mr.boses.

A perfect supply cart for your armies, or as you intended it, the wizards cart!

Well designed, sturdy, compact, and umm...adorable to. :P

Really nice cart, some non-castle pieces come to good use! Awesome stuff as allways. 8)

I like the little bugbear getting trapped and then... Becoming friend with the wizard? :D

Nice design. I like the use of the railing pieces. Usually I think they look too modern, but in this case I think it looks ok. The only problem I have with the cart is its too black. You could put some color into it.

I like it all. "Bugbear": that's great.

Nice construction on the cart especially.

This is great - I like the wizards too - but the cart is very cool. Like you said, it seems to hold a lot for a small cart, and it's also built very well - very much like Gandalfs. Great work, as usual!

I just noticed that, actually. That is a nice idea for a brick-built hat. The mace is cool too, btw.

I wonder where you got the basket/net that was thrown on the bugbear? Is that a LEGO piece?

He got it from a basketball set.
Nice cart and cult wizard(he knows the cult of mimic, right?)

You know you're a good person when you see megablocks and have to do things you would rather not.

Hey,

The basketball net is here. It's found in the NBA sets like this one:

Wow

Non-castle sets are truly valuable in providing some great unique pieces. I always use HP and SW, but the sports series, thats one I wouldn't expect, nice!

Yes Ottoatm, useful indeed....

I took the arms off of the NBA players and attached them to the Ewok torso, and then I added regular brown minifig legs...

the result is a very strange, stooping sort of Bugbear, and the hands look more claw-like this way as well. I use the hands and arms to the Ewoks on my other darker skinned figures...and the Ewok stubbies for my other minifigs, like dwarves and halflings and such...

I hope this makes sense...

Heh heh - yep! Lots of sense - I'm always doing the same kind of thing, as are most of us (I think) as we part our misc. sets out... intersting to hear how you did it all
