My First LEGO Brickfilm: Material Possessions

Post by Lord_Of_The_LEGO »

Well, here it is, after a month of animating, my first brickfilm!

It's three minutes, 6.7 megabytes, Realmedia.

Please let me know what you think!

That was hilarious!

So many things- I liked the 'growing gun' and the coffee explosion.

"Oh well. I'll edit it in Photoshop."

So, did you do all the voices?

And one thing, for the future, I'd put more stuff in the background- that wall is looking a little bare...

Cracked me up, Nathan! My favorite was the coffee explosion, but the growing gun and the delivery man pushing that crate through the too-small door were good too. I also liked the design of that sofa. Keep it up!

This is great! I recently watched a spoof on the song 'My Way' changed to 'I bought it on Ebay.' Your film was very well done, and enjoyable to watch.

My 8 year old nephew and just turned 6 year old niece love Alibabidad. Not quite sure they'll go for this, but I'm sure just for the Pokemon card reference they'll kill themselves laughing.

I'm glad you liked it, everyone! :D

Yup. Alex is bascially my normal voice. Derrick is a lot more high-pitched, and through my nose. :P

Thanks again.

This was great - I was laughing the most at the gun and the coffee pot... I can't help but understand the feeling of ordering something (usually on e-bay) and getting something else... or something that doesn't work... especially with LEGO... :?

I also liked the way you made the styrofoam for the boxes little LEGO pieces... looked good...

But the one thing I am most impressed with is the fluid movement that the figs had? Was there an easy way to do that? I'm thinking it must have taken forever. Really high quality here... especially for one of you first.
Knight Templar
n. pl. Knights Templars or Knights Templar
1.A member of an order of knights founded about 1118 to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the Second Crusade.
