Thanks guys :) JPinoy, it's going to be 1/1 soon, it's almost done. Probably this weekend I'll finally get to finish it.

Wow, this is looking really good so far. I like the general layout of the castle, and the gatehouse looks good. The only thing I don't like is the roof. The shallower slopes get it a Eastern look, as opposed to a European castle look, although if this if what you are going for, then you have done it well.

Thanks kelderic, the roof is sloped like that for the simple reason that it would otherwise become too big a roof for the rest of the castle :)

Here's a new update. I'm only waiting for the right amount of rooftiles to finish the roofs and then I'm done (mind you once the roof of the Great Hall is done, that square tower won't look so vulnerable anymore because it'll be surrounded by roof up to 3 bricks height from the top).
Well I also need to add some detail to the courtyard but that's the finishing touch I think.

Those roofs look really lush, and it's great seeing the castle in a more completed state!

I can't wait to see it populated now.

This looks really good! Especially when one considers the fact that it's the first one after coming out of your Dark Age..

I really can't wait for the roofs! ;)

I don't know what praise I can give that hasn't already been said. One thing I will say, is that I'd be very proud to have a castle like this sitting in my room. Fantastic job! It looks like alot of fun to play with as well.

Fantastic :D Although maybe a little less black in the wooden section of the gatehouse. Coming along nicely!

Yeah I was going to make it brown, but I don't have enough brown bricks in my mostly old collection, I figured black would do instead.
