Hmmm... A controversial custom, to say the least...
the dual leg-protecting flanges just look bad. Either use a curiass torso ( since you don't have the armada breastplate) or take the ninja-plate off the legs.
that leg protection...Lose it
About the leg protection, I understand your point of view, but looks like the soldier is bearing too much armor now.
the hip armour is awesome
Well! I'm thinking of this torso now, as there's no way I'm going to lose that leg armor. Sorry to all you naysayers.

Everyone needs a little controversy in their life. I haven't weighed in yet, so here is my take. I think it will look better with the new torso you have chosen. Overall, you have done a great job. I am not quite sure what I think about the leg armor, but you definitely like it, so go with it. The fidora is very well done. Once you post pics of him with the new torso, I will make my final call.

Perfect. I think it's even the right color to match the ninja-breastplate leg-armor (What are those things actually called? I know they have a name.)
I just think it's a silly-looking guy, but nonetheless a great custom.

And then you could use the sphere ends for the fly-batters on a sombrero!
