Accessory set on S@H; Viking Armor!!

Post by Count Blacktron »

No, not for minifigures. Shame on LEGO for getting my hopes up...

http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=851942

Still, it matches the LEGOLAND Viking Helm, Sword and Shield I got for my little 4 year old Broomhilda last summer. Might just have to order it.

Too bad they don't have a smaller size too, for my LEGO Shop/TRU MAXI-minifigure (6-12 months infant size). He'd look sweet in Viking duds to match my shield maiden. 8)

Dang it, I thought you meant the Viking euro armors in a accesory pack. Still, this is pretty cool.

That's what I thought when browsing the "What's New" section of the LEGO online shop. Nearly tied my index fingers with my thumbs racing down to the mouse pad on my laptop. Dirty tricksters, them LEGO webmasters, putting up the Hogwarts Castle as a pre-order along with this Viking shirt on the same day...

I wish that it was: A: in adult sizes, an B: Colourful. C'mon, brown? We're talkin' Vikings here! Correct me if I'm wrong, but both Scandinavian farmers
*and* warriors wore colourful shirts, as far as I know. But yes, curse TLG for tricking me!
...and that's how Equestria was made!

Yeah, this is a little disappointing, but after thinking about it, wouldn't it stink to get only armor? If it came with shortswords and differing helmets, it would be cool. I myself have had enough of the speckeled armor.

hehe, well, you got my hopes up too. I'm sure there are kids who would love this, I was not one who would have, but I'm a little different.

At any rate it makes for an interesting "set"...

I wonder if it would fit me... I'm only 6 feet tall. I'd wear it everyday!

NOT!

My inner extrovert was just screaming for more attention... or at least noteworthy annoyance. It's a gift; some say a curse.

A little childish. I wouldn't wear it. I hope no one else would either.

i suppose this is as good a place to say it as any: the play armor and weapons that lego has been coming out with (this, the viking helmet, shield, and sword and various kk2 themed items, including helmets, swords and shields) are really, really well done. regardless of what you think of the colors (jayko's items are baby blue) the swords, shields and helmets are durable yet safe hard foam and the clothing tends to be pretty well made, too. i would have absolutely killed for this stuff when i was small enough to fit in it.
79% of Classic Castle hates KK2. If you're one of the 20% that loves it, paste this into your sig. Started by Danju.
