Falcons Picking off Trolls

Post by castlebuilder100 »

Here is an MOC I made of two Black Falcon archers picking off a band of trolls that are passing through.
Sorry some of the pics are a little blurry. :(
The picture is a link to the gallery(when public)

I would love some feedback :D .

I like that the second archer (the one hiding behind the tree, not the one in the stump) is reaching back into his quiver to reload. Well done on the figure posing.

Also, the Black Falcons have shown their superior intelligence by picking off the orcs from back to front, rather than from front to back which would have been too obvious even for orcs to overlook.

Very nice. You've got some great landscaping there.

Poor Orcs. :(

It's a nice MOC, I liked your use of landscaping.

I just feel sorry for those defenceless Orcs, cut down in an unprovoked attack. I might have to go home and cuddle mine.

I like the landscaping. I think you should add a few more orcs. It would use the space a bit more nice. Good fig posing, though. Shouldn't the orc with the whip be in the back driving the others on?

The landscape is really good. I love using dark orange for roadways and the rocks look good. I will suggest that when building rocks out of slopes, don't have them all facing one direction. Turn some of them sideways and such to get a more jagged rocky look.

Yeah, right after I finished this I looked at some of your rock work and realized that all of the slopes were facing one way on mine. Thanks

That's a good point. I will have to keep that in mind.

EDIT: Oops. Meant to ask a question: What's your opinion on using a similar look for rivers? Do you really need as jagged a slope then?

All the post of figures are really good.

I particularly like the falcon shooting from the tree pit, brilliant use of tree pit.
And the post of 1st Orcs looks funny....everyone die, he still doesn't notice it.... The chicken leg must be tasty.

The scene is really good, only use of 5 figures, good~~!

Excellent job. I love the one orc just walking along munching on his frah'd chikin', that's hilarious

Great job overall :D

Ha ha that's pretty awesome! The Orks must be very oblivious because the Black Falcons aren't hiding that good. The terrain is awesome!
