Figs for a game of BrickQuest

Post by natepc »

*Brushes off cobwebs* About 9 months since my last post, I think. Far too long!

The local LUG recently agreed to give BrickQuest a go, so I threw together some minifigs for the players. No custom parts or stickers, just pure LEGO goodness.

I present:

The Humans: Warrior, Thief, Mage, Cleric
Image

The Elves: Ranger, Assassin, Sorcerer, Druid
Image

The Dwarves: Berserker, Prospector, Geomancer, Paladin
Image

The human cleric is straight from the Castle Chess Set. I think he fits the bill quite well enough. All pictures are links, comments, complaints and suggestions are more than welcome.

The Geomancer character is fantastic! The rest are good too, but... wow! I don't think I've seen that done with crystals before (I certainly didn't know you could do that) and it fits so perfectly!

The Geomancer is one of my favourites, as well. Glad you liked the crystals!

Very nice characters. I rather enjoy the geomancer as well but the elf ranger is very good as well. Not sure how I feel about the elf eyes but I understand the need to do something to seperate them from humans and those faces work. The sapper dwarf is cool. I loved the chess set having the bishop being this mean looking mage. He is perfect as a cleric.

Nice work.

Great characters! How did you get the crystal to fit on the Geomancer's stick?

I just stuck it on, there is a rod receptacle in the bottom of the crystal. I had never noticed it before, I just happened to look when I got tired of sticking different coloured gemstones on top of the staff. I am rather pleased. I am considering sticking an upside-down dish underneath it to give the staff some transition and details. More Staff of Power, less rock on a stick. I'll give that a go when I arrive home tonight.

Glad to hear that you all like it!
