Can anybody tell me why bley seems to be more prevalent in Europe than in North America? I see countless stores on Bricklink selling the bley bricks I'm looking for at half the price the North American sellers are. It wouldn't be so bad if the cost of shipping a bag of $0.06 1x2s or 2x2s from Europe didn't end up the same as a bag of $0.10 bag of the same from here in North America.
It's just been bugging me.

This thread belongs in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. I will move it there.
My guess is that Europeans have a better selection of bley from PAB, stores, and events. Of course they could all be buying old grey and not transitioning to bley, but I doubt it.
