Post by Derfel Cadarn »

Hi there, heres another castle moc ive been working on. Knights are storming the hunting lodge of a wealthy Lord and demanding he pays the price for peace, or die!

I saw this on the front page at Eurobricks... had to say i saved the pics... Hopefully in the future I might be able to create something 1/2 as good as this.

Awesome is the only word to describe it... I especially like the troops waiting behind the house, :D

This is incredible!!! I love it!

And so he slipped into the forest, vanishing without a trace, leaving his pursuers lost without ideas, while he went to finish his MOC's.

Here's where they are:

Yet another amazing build by you!
The landscaping is just lovely to look upon, the life going on all around the MOC is really well made, and the lodge looks solid and elegant at the same time, which can be very hard to achieve.

Can't add much to what others have said. This is a work of art!

Hey Luke!
Once again I applaud your adaptations with the same sort of ideas. Bley cliffs, Green foliage, overall awe. These creations of yours keep my eyes and mouth open. Just a quickie question. Do you cannibalize your creations after photoop or are you the one that keeps Bricklink in business?! :roflol:

To echo the praise here; the varied landscaping, the lodge, the burnt down hut, the figures harvesting, all excellent. Nicely done.

The use of the round 1x1 plates reminds me a lot of old english church towers built up with mainly lots of small flints cobbles. It's a very nice affect that I imagine I'll save for future ideas.
