Very cool. Though I'm not sure I like the cliffs all that much. The rest of it is great. Palm trees too...

I recognized this immediately -- I just happened to have been looking through an old art history book the evening before you posted this. It's nice that you chose a temple for your subject. I imagine most of us think of Pyramids and Sphinxes when in mind of Egypt, but a temple actually offers a lot more in the way of architectural interest. I wouldn't have noticed anything wrong with the cliffs, but after others have called attention to them, I guess the problem is that each section of the cliff is an independent vertical column. Perhaps if you turned some of the pieces on the side and connected the various sections together in a more random looking single mass, it might help. But I love the details you've included: the palm trees, the ship, the stairs rising inside the doorway. It's a nice moc; thanks for posting it.
