Religious Minifigs

Post by BlackenedPurple »

There seems to be a lot of interest in depicting religion through LEGO, yet due to TLG's reluctance to produce religious minifigs, fans have had to be creative. I hope this thread will sort of serve as a guide or reference for fans looking for inspiration when creating such historical figs.

Feel free to contribute photos of figs you've seen or created that represent any religion.

Here is my contribution. I imagine him to be some high Church official.

Sorry for the picture quality, but there is a cross on each leg, a cross around the neck, and two smaller crosses by the waist. The headgear is that of SW character Nute Gunray, the cross on his staff is a ski pole, the torso is the King's from Prison Carriage Ambush, and the legs are the King's/Prince's from King's Castle/Kingdoms Advent Calendar.

Haha I laugh at the excellent torso choice.

Those nuns could've easily depicted Muslim women too. Though Im not sure Christian nuns. Some Sikh women and Muslim women do however.
