Tutorials by Eilonwy77 - mosaics and trees

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

Katie Walker, aka Eilonwy77, wrote a very helpful cheese slope mosaic tutorial. It's been added to the how-to page.

I've also linked to her bendy leaf tree tutorial as well.

BTW, if anyone wants to make any sort of tutorial or other article on building techniques, customization, or whatever, just let me or any other admin know.

I don't have the patience or creative vision (fat fingers don't help either) to excel with these mosaics, but I really appreciate the time and thought that Katie put into this tutorial. Using different color elements to really show each detail of her method really makes it easy to understand.

Great job, Katie. Looking forward to meeting you at BrickCon this year! :D

Some great stuff here! I'll be trying out some of those techniques as soon as I get a chance.

These are great, I especially like the cheeseslope art, I have I tried to make some but as AK I don´t really have the patience to work with them and when it falls down I quit trying. But thanks Bruce for posting Katies great tutorials.

My next project is a cathedral, and I will be referencing this for stained glass. Thank you!
