What are everyone's list of lego things to get in 2014? I definitely won't be able to get everything on my list, because I have a pretty small budget, but hopefully I can get the majority of it. Here is mine:Sets-

My list depends on what else is brought out this year.But I am looking at this:

LOTR/Hobbit- Unexpected Gathering x2
LOTR/Hobbit -Laketown x2
LOTR/Hobbit- barrel escape
LOTR- Helms deep
Kingdoms Joust an Chess if I can get 1 more of each

Plus bulk brick and PAB, as usual. An a couple bricklink orders. An any good sets I find on sale..

I can't decide between the city logging truck or the camper van… the logging truck has got more parts for the same price, however, I am in need of some civilians and civilian vehicles, so that's one to the camper van….I don't know, they'll probably end up as just parts in my collection anyway

I probably won't target any specific sets this year. I might pick a few up if I find a good deal like 40% off, but I'll likely just stick to BrickLink for most of my purchases for a while.

As usual, I'm hoarding figs, both for Garheim and to continue to add to my elf collection. Some day I'll get around to converting them all to yellow.

I also would like to add some more wargs, and I will probably just BrickLink various parts as needed. I have seen some images of new huskies and polar bears, so if that comes to fruition, I will DEFINITELY be adding some of those for my Garheim MOCs!

I'm so limited by lack of building space that I don't really "need" anything more than what I have already. Hopefully by this time next year I will be close to buying a house, and then I'll really be able to go crazy with building some bigger stuff!

I'm not gonna target specific sets either, unless some come out that I really want. I think I'll buy things more spontaneously than usual, it's more fun that way

I've got a wish list with 25 sets on it already...

Many of the LEGO Movie sets and lots of Friends.

And we haven't seen the new Castle lineup or various other themes that I'll have interest in.

I'm hoping to pick up the Mirkwood Elf Army set, and maybe the Dol Guldur set with Beorn. (not for him, for the orcs. PJ's portrayal of him is silly. ) I'm also waiting for the 2014 Castle sets to surface. I'll be sure to pick up a few of those (I'm hoping, perhaps futilely, for new factions!).

I might make a BL order later in the year for some shields or helmets, but for right now my focus is on saving up for Castle 2014.

I have a problem with collecting, if i have one set in a series I have to finish it! im seeing the lego movie sets draining my budget for the foreseeable future, theres just so many.

Just because it's no longer available on lego.com, doesn't mean that it's not available elsewhere (eg Bricklink). You just have to keep your eyes open for a good deal. Who knows, it may even be sat on the back of some dusty shelf waiting for you to discover!

On my list are, some more new castle figures (lions/dragons), the Lego Movie CMFs. A white horse, a dark red hood, white hood, a large hulk!

I do know that you can get it on amazon, but I don't want to spend $40 for 257 parts. When I go to the lego store when I get back to the states I'll ask the manager whether they have any in the store.

I see it in random shops every now and again, so you may well be lucky at some point. Have a hunt around and see what you find
