The 2014 MocOlympics is once again inspiring amazing building. In round 3, Ian Spacek was tasked with building something microscale, and he came up with this great light-up Barad-dûr.
Actually, the whole thing is just spectacular. This may be the most detailed microscale I've seen. It is just excellent. And that Eye at the the top just perfectly finishes it off.
When you zoom in and discover that the gravel on the ground is actually made from chains... and the magnificent details on the tower's structure itself... you could get green from envy
...or just enjoy the amazing skills which put this piece together. Fantastic!
Go Ian! Love this build, it really shows that Ian has skill in many many different areas of Lego building. The lighting is just ace!
