HUGE Black Falcon army...

Post by Gumby »

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but I was looking for pictures of original vs re-released Black Falcon logos (which I was unable to find) when I came across this:

Someone have the patience to count them?

Ahh thanks Jojo. Wow the difference is quite noticeable. I find that the rounded-bottom shield on the original looks so much more "friendly" and "welcoming" compared to the pointed shield on the re-release!

Yah - they're not even secured on a baseplate! Even a sneeze would knock most of them over!

How does somebody get so many figs. Was lego selling figs individually one time?

If not, i guess he has a lot of money and purchased bulk falcon sets.

Hmm... the guy must be Japanese or Chinese or Mongolian(or something like that :) ) because there are books at the back that are written in one of those languages. This's a small detail, but shows us that the Japanese people are gifted in some professions, like collecting Lego :)

Actually it just Looks like he is Chinese exc. But if you notice the top of the gray book it says in English Hong Kong Guidebook. Therefore he may be learning Chinese or just likes Oriental things.

He arranged all of those without a baseplate... impressive.
