Thanks for posting, Athos.

Can one say, redbrown and burnt orange parts pack? :D

Man, that thing is huge! And look at all those normal bricks and slopes! Sweetness! The Jawas also a really cool. Time to mow some more lawns for cash...

Speaking of cash, does anyone know the MSRP? With over 1660 parts, I'm guess at least $150...which is reasonable, but a pity, since I've also got my eyes on the entire Viking line and Vladek's fortress.

I'm feeling that pain too. Soo many good things to get and never enough cash. I'll have to pick and chose the ones I really want. (which always happen to be the biggest and 100$ ones *cry*)

LEGO is making a comeback.

Wow! What a great way to collect brown bricks! One Sandcrawler and one Viking fortress coming up!

The figures are great too! No luke! Uncle Owen will make a great new peasant, and there are three Jawas with black heads and brown robes! (Although did they really have to give us yet more C-3PO and R2-D2 figs?)

Did anyone else notice the arches are all bley? Too bad they didn't make brown arches. Oh well, you can't have everything.

My Star Wars geekness is also dissapointed that the sandcrawler doesn't have the tube thingy on the bottom side that sucks the droids up. That was always my favorite feature of the sandcrawler. :) Maybe I'll add one myself before I part this thing up.

I still can't get over the size.... so many brown bricks. I'm so glad they didn't use plates like they did with the AT-AT!

Uncle Ben: Peasant. Not a big fan of fleshies, though.
Jawa Head: Nazghul for all you LOTR fans.
Jawa legs: Goblins & Dwarves, children.
Jawa Torso: just about any minifig who needs small bags.
Jawa hood: Monk, wanderer, herder, etc.
Building Pieces: Brown mountains, houses, you name it.
Droids: I have no idea.
Tank treads: Goblin contraptions? :D

The big minus is that its new brown, o' well..

Well, I, personally, really like the redbrown color. It accents other earthtone colors like burnt orange, sand green and dark tan nicely.

I see a lot of useful brown pieces!
The set is Fantastic!

Only a couple bad things I noticed....
The white pieces that were mottled in with the orange & grey don't look good. The sandcrawler in the Star Wars movie didn't have any white colors if I can remember correctly.
Also, the control room windows at the top look to be just stickers instead of actual windows.

Other than those 2 negatives, the rest of the set is awesome.
The set does have around 1600 pieces but I still don't think I'd pay $150 for it. Maybe $125 or something?

I am feeling the "pull" of this set too. I almost bought Imperial Inspection today for the same reason.... Some of the SW sets are very cool.... I grew up with StarWars, Jawas were always a favourite creature/character. "Wootini!" :) Too much good LEGO, not enough cash... Kidney anyone?

Heh. It doesn't rain fast enough here for that...

Finally my Luke (okay, umpteen Lukes  ) will have someone to whine to about power convertors.

Mmm, parts pack...

At least thats probably what happened. Love the set. Need money.

Can't really say much else, but I am curious to see whether this will have a detailed interior or not, as I think I can glimpse some stairs through one of the side doors. Also, full-length capes would touch the ground, while the Jawas seem to have capes suited to their heights. Just thought I'd point that out.
