Crusaders vs. Black Falcons Vignette

Post by armothe »

Having fended off the initial guerilla attacks of the Forestmen and waging a war against the Black Falcons and Black Knights caused the Crusaders to fade from existence. However, a small but determined group of loyalists breathe new life into their standard - Crusaders Reborn!
Image

Constantly jockeying for supreme power the four Black Falcon warlords reluctantly unite under a divided banner in a half-hearted attempt to thwart the rebirth of the Crusaders.

Bitter rivals to the end!

Great vigs, armothe. The pauldrons are great, the great helms look awesome, the the surcoat is amazing, the flags are wonderful, and the shields and swords look cool too.

Outstanding intro of these nice looking custom pieces! What a great concept, the colors of this maxi-vig. I will need to get some of these items, ans Blasterman's helm too.

They look perfect for the historic period as well, and maybe that's the best praise for you. Well done!

Sadly, they do not. Nor will they work perfectly with motorcyle helmets, however, advancing he minifig head upwards a centimeter or two will allow for such a fit. I'm not sure if we can ever figure out how to have two of our neckpieces fit together.

These look cool ~ I really like the Crusaders banner - it's perfect for the storyline too, although I'm not 100% sure about the Crusaders clothing... seem a little too busy for me... although it is masterfully done. I also love the little story you had behind them all - The black falcons look really cool - and the armour that both factions use, as well as the way the vigs both connect, is the perfect finishing touch for this cool idea.

Awesome vigs! My favorite is the crusaders...that banner is sweet, love the slashed look. The black falcon knight is very cool, the silver accents are perfect.

Yeah, the connectivity is awsome...
Actually it's hard for me to say  but I don't like really much those banners also as I don't like the crusader's wear (I'm not saying that they're bad)... It's just somehow too juniorized to me...
Those helmets are really awsome, I like how chrome works in combination with our well-known colors...
With all it's golden/silver plumes they left one really noble impression...

Really nice custom work Armothe :)

Excelent work Armothe, I really like that Crusader banner, and the tunic as nice as well.

Not to mention all those lovely new products that the two are showcasing for us

I really like both of the Knights armothe. The only gripe I have is the Crusader tunic looks a little out of place. The Crusader flag is beautiful though.

*typety type* hmmm... a Black Falc vs. Crusader vignette. Could be cool. *click* GASP! *faint*.

OH WOW! Dude I want those great helms! I like how you made a semi-story to this thing instead of making it just boring old "here's a vig of two knights of a different faction blah blah blah". You gave life to this vig! I commend thee.

The colors are awesome, the piece use is awesome, the vig is awesome!
