Lord Bas has arrived.

Post by Lord Bas »

Allow me to introduce myself.

I am Lord Bas and once I was a mighty war- and landlord. The towers of my castle reached the ceilings and my armies were proud and undefeatable.

For many years I fought and traded with many allies untill the time came that one by one my allies and enemies fell. Their castles and armies were destroyed by the hands of gods untill there was nothing left then bricks of plastic.

Many years continued but finally the loneliness caught up with me. My once glorious castle now lies in a thousand bricks and my armies are buried under her colourfull blocks.

I found myself a girlfriend, whose beauty in unequeled. On a dark winterday her mum told me about a ancient ruin hidden on the ceiling. I travelled there and found it, and I knew that my love for lego had never died.

A few days back I ordered 2 castles on E-bay. As a child I always wanted them, and now I got the money to buy them. Soon I am planning to rebuild my Empire: From the smallest building to the largest castle (afcourse with the help of my girlfriend).

I found this holy place a couple of hours ago, looked around and was amazed with it. I love how many of you create your own shields, banners and items. I did the same for Warhammer, but it is afcourse a great idea to do the same to lego.

regards,

Lord Bas.

Welcome to CC. Nice trying to convert this hole thing into a BG story. It was quite nice.

Well thank you dear knights and lords for this warm welcome.

Although I am very new to this community (for a time I thought I was one of the last above the ago of 10 who still liked lego) I am sure I will enjoy my stay. :)

Hmm.. Time to make a general. All that cutom made models here are very inspiring. Now, where did I leave that green stuff?

Bas.

And so does your name. Yes I am from the Netherlands, near Rotterdam.

Very nice website there, but at the moment a big community as this I did not expect. It will take time to explore, it's quite overwhelming now. :D

Sorry to be a threadomancer but I just have to say welcome to you ;) (It´s not everyday someone you knew a year back from a Warhammer forum turns up on one of your favourite LEGO forums :P)

P.S And since we knew each other from a Warhammer forum dedicated to the Undead I assume the Threadomancy fit quite well ;)

Welcome Bas!

It's great you've found your way out of your dark age and right into CC. I hope you find this site as inspiring and, well... time-consuming as I do.
