I don't think I'd fork over $2 for that
Is $2 a lot for a castle minifig? I don't think so... I know you can get minifigs for less than a buck on bricklink... but only certain minifigs, no? Well, I'm curious for feedback on that ~

For $2, I would have liked to at least see the armor included.

If this was $1, I would buy a few. Likewise for the other knights.

For a Castle fig with helmet, shield and weapon, $2 is about par for the course. I would have prefered it if it had the newer helmet, and I'd always prefer cheaper, but in light of the prices of LEGO in general, I don't see this price as out of line.

I agree with you on this. The last polybags, that I remember anyway, were the defense archers in the first Knight's Kingdom line. They cost $1.98 at Walmart. So, I would assume this would be about that. However, I also wouldn't be surprised if they jacked the price up too.

O.k, now that we have the price thing out of the way :D
Has anyone seen it out yet? Any idea when and where it will be sold?

Hello!

I don't know what the price of this set will be. I was lucky enough to get it for free. Nor do I know where it will be available, but I'm pretty sure the polybag as we see it here is meant for the US market. Only there the piece count and the large "choking hazard" warning are obligatory.

I strongly suppose there are at least/at the most five sets of this kind but I only got this one

Could you please explain what you meant? Does it mean you saw other sets with different figures packaged like this where you got this one?

I didn't see anything, alas. But we already know the new Catapult 5994 (also a polybag), and now we have a single fig with the number 5998. So I figure there will be some numbers in between and around, and I guess they will be other characters from the KK2 universe (Danju, Jayko, Rascus, Santis at least). However, I really don't know anything, it's only a guess and I may be totally wrong. Recently TLC (LEGO, the company) doesn't act comprehansibly all the time when it comes to set numbers.

It's also possible that the numbers between and around 5994 and 5998 ain't KK2 at all but samples from other current lines (World City, Vikings (yeah!), Alpha Team, Sports, Creator etc).

Ugh... I hope not... I've got too many of these as it is! But, I guess we'll see. I am happy to see these little polybags coming out... and your right... a viking line would be sweeet!!

Good to see that helmet lives on...I doubted that it would have survived the Titanomachy of 2004...I just find the head odd...since the Johnny Thunder heads in Orient Expedition were different from the previous ones in Adventurers lines...

Hm, maybe we see the young Vladek in this set. When he was a simple Shadow Knight himself....

I might get a couple if they came with Jayko... (*feels that he is being looked at very strangely*) What? He has a good shield and I could use his arms with a Harry Potter torso for a custom faction of some sort.

Still, it will be interesting to see if there are more single-figure sets or more small vehicles like the catapult. I seem to recall that someone confirmed that the catapult would be released as its own set, but I have no quote and may be thinking about something else.
