Battleship wagon
To war with the Battleship Wagon, a landbased ship-of-the-line suited for circling enemy castles while firing devestating weaponry. Some extra archers are usefull anyway.

Carriage Ballistae
Carriage Ballistae are small artillery pieces carried on the back of carts into battle.
This is my own medieval version of a Roman device.

Gathering of the Clouds
Another scene from the Hobbit, showing the lakemen gathering for war against the goblins/wargs/dwarves. The trebuchet is inspired from the Warwolf trebuchet created by King Edward in the Scottish rebellion.

Mantlet
Mantlet is a movable shield for archer and crossbowman. Cheap logistic, I think that factions are able to deploy a lot, for approaching walls of castles.

Petard
The petard was a specialized door breaching tool. It contained explosive material and by applying a large amount of force to a small area. Engineers would usually light the fuse, place the petard against a door or light wall, and run!

Steer Powered Ram
A beast powered battering ram that uses rear positioned steers to get the ram close to the gate. Then the men take over to operate the ram. The weapon is articulated in the back for those tight twisty approaches. There is plenty of positionable overhead cover to protect the steers, driver and the ram operators/crew.

The Doorknocker
part three of my Bear Claw Clan storyline:
After the Treaty, Gorang returned home supplied with new techniques, new funding, and a new vigor for the hunt. He and his men spent the winter building a new weapon to make the enemies tremble, quake, and then fall to their knees: the DoorKnocker!
With the coming of spring, the Bear Claw Clan emerges from their den ready and moves south toward history!

The Nemesis Ram
The village was nearly entirely slaughtered at Hastings. Ofdan and Evja fled, and Edgar, Sven, Hrafn and Garulf fought their way to the shield wall.
Filled with vengeance, the few survivors resisted, besieging Norman forts and raiding Norman caravans.
They fought to the bitter end.

War Altar
War altars were used in battle as a means to conduct religious ceremonies on the battlefield, and also as a rallying point for the troops. They typically were surrounded by an elite guard and trumpeters whose blasts encouraged the troops to fight. The wagon usually contained an altar, and most often carried a sacred relic.
