Hmm, There are aftermarket sights for guns that use a certian material that is lighted, yet doesn't require any sort of power source, wires, that sort of things. Perhaps this is what this guy did? Such as here: http://www.glockfaq.com/images/pics/glock_night_sights.jpg The sights "Glow" an...

Yeah, I was thinking about doing it that way, but I had quite a few 1x2, 1x4, and 1x6 bricks used in the Keep I'm making, so I would have to tear that down to get the needed parts. On my final version I'll put windows, I promise ;)

Looks nice! I have one as well, I assume the same as you, it's false-edged, but the tip can do some serious damage like you were saying ;)

Who you calling a Schildbürger ;) I was actually thinking about the windows, but the thing is largely made of up Castle Wall Pieces, so I would have to disrupt the pattern of the Walls in order to incorporate windows into it. As you probably noticed I used those large 1x2x5 bricks to hide the window...

Amazing! That is one massive wall. The Battlements really look great, probably the best I have seen. with walls like that I can't imagine what the Keep will look like ;) One question though, how do people get up to the top of the wall or to the gate tower? Once again, looks great, and I can't wait f...

Wow, looks great! I can't wait for interior shots either! The inset windows look really great, and the stain glass windows give it a nice touch. I can't really think of anything else to say, but I think this is really nice!

Thanks for the comments guys! Troy, Well, I had needed money for some of my other hobbies, and has lost interest in Lego for a month or so for whatever reason, so I just decided to sell off most of what I had left. I kept a lot of basic parts like plates and small bricks, but sold off most everythin...

First Castle MOC in awhile.

I haven't really built anything in a good 5 months or so, mainly because I sold off most of my collection, but after building it back up a bit I wanted to build something! As you can see, it's a Gate Tower. I decided to use doors instead of a Portcullis since the technic parts for one of those nifty...

I think Blasterman makes a good point, a controversial one (which is probably why it got edited/deleted), but a good point none the less. I'm not going to say anymore since it's not my site and the Admins/Mods have the right to run it the way they like... But this is really a reason why I think they...

Well there are a few ways to make it. You can buy those pre-made links they sell on E-bay and various other sites, which come in either riveted or butted. The riveted links have little flat spots on the ends of the links, with a hole through it, and you pass a rivet through that hole, and seals the ...

I really like this design as well, I placed a BL order with some parts for mine a bit after I saw that on Brick Shelf. I don't really like the Lego peice either, looks like a Jail door or something, and making one out of various 1xX plates makes a pretty weak structure.

Yeah, I saw the post with that in it, it looks very nice!Nothing I ever made turned out that good, I was really just experimenting with making different types of armor plating, such as plate shoulder armor much like yours, and various styles of plates to cover the forearm, although nothing came out ...

I'm not really all that fond of raised baseplates, but out of all of them I like the 6090 (is it the same as in 6086?) Baseplate best. A good use for raised baseplates is for making landscapes without using too many bricks, or a support structure underneath (I'm talking about making hills and raised...

Anyone here make Armor?

I know this is sort of Off-Topic, but seeing as this post is about real Armor I figured it would make sense to put it here, if any mods feel it's inappropriate, please delete it. Anyway, I was just curious if anyone here makes Armor? I have made simple wooden shields, as well as tried my hand at mak...

I really like building with the 2x2 Bricks, I had over 3,000 before I sold everything off. The only problem I find with using 2x2s instead of 2x4s is the corners. You must either use a 1x3 brick together with a 1x1, or if you build slightly differnt you can use a 1x2 on the end, but either way build...
