Weekly Set Review: Royal Knight's Castle

This week’s set is 6090 Royal Knight's Castle.

Royal Knight's Castle was released in 1995. This castle has two gate towers, one with doors and a portcullis and another with a drawbridge. The set also has an archer tower, a defensive catapult, a jail, a secret entrance, a trap door, a well and a shed. Two archers, two soldiers, two knights, the King, a ghost, and a skeleton are included with various accessories.


Knight's Kingdom II: Spring Sales and Sets

Spring sales are taking place for several KKII minifigure sets and all of the Knight action figures at USA Shop at Home. Check out the deals.

The new large figures and catapults are also out in much of the world. You can see the images of King Jayco's and Vladek's new catapults. Four new knights: Kentis, Adric, Dracus, and Karzon are also available each with a new shield and unique weapons.

This week’s set is 6054 Forestmen's Hideout.

Forestmen’s Hideout, the second Forestmen sub-theme set, was released in 1988. It is an opening tree that includes a tree house area, two forestmen, an archery target, smaller trees, and accessories.

This week’s set is 8875 King's Siege Tower.

King's Siege Tower was released in 2005 for Knight's Kingdom II. The tower has a drawbridge to enter enemy castles and a battering ram to knock down doors and walls. Two shadow knights attempt to stop King Mathias and Jayko from using this siege weapon. Various accessories such as large lion shields, weapons, and flags are included.

This week’s set is 6056 Dragon Wagon.

Dragon Wagon was released in 1993 for the Dragon Masters. This wagon is pulled by two horses and has a cage containing a dragon. The set also includes a driver, a mounted knight, and various accessories.


Custom Castle Sets: An interview with Eric Druon

Eric is a French AFOL who designs and sells a variety of custom sets using LEGO bricks. His models include the Watchtower, Skeleton’s Bridge, and the new Valiant Hart Tavern.
